1. EV Car Charging Stations
We understand the importance of reducing carbon emissions and supporting electric vehicle (EV) adoption. That’s why we’ve installed five EV car charging stations at our Workshops. These chargers are available for our customers and employees, making it convenient for everyone to choose eco-friendly transportation. By providing this service, we aim to promote sustainable travel options and reduce our overall carbon footprint.
2. Biomass Wood Heaters
Heating accounts for a significant portion of energy consumption at Reeve & Co. To mitigate this impact, we utilize biomass wood heaters in our operations. These heaters use renewable organic materials, which help lower greenhouse gas emissions and provide efficient heating. Our commitment to using biomass energy not only supports sustainability but also promotes a circular economy.
3. Certified Timber
We are proud to source our wood materials from certified suppliers if specified. This certification ensures that the wood we use comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. By prioritising certified timber, we support sustainable forestry practices and help protect vital ecosystems for future generations.
4. Sustainable Wood Sourcing
At Reeve & Co Interiors, we take our sourcing seriously. We are committed to sustainable wood sourcing, which involves selecting materials that are harvested with minimal impact on the environment. Our partnerships with suppliers focus on transparency and traceability, ensuring that every piece of wood we use is responsibly sourced, whether it’s reclaimed, recycled, or harvested from sustainable forests.
5. Water-Based Paints
To further reduce our environmental impact, we exclusively use water-based paints in our projects. Unlike traditional paints that contain harmful solvents and chemicals, water-based options are safer for both the environment and human health. They emit fewer volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making our spaces healthier and contributing to improved air quality.
